Description

3 Days • 2 Nights • One-on-One • Noosa

Understand yourself. Learn how your body works. Build a wellness plan rooted in self-love.

This is not a bootcamp.

It’s not a detox.

And I’m not going to hand you another rigid wellness plan and tell you to follow it.

The Private Noosa Wellness Retreat is a completely personalised, one-on-one experience grounded in behavioural science, life coaching and the principles of self-love explored in my e-book, Health Through Self-Love.

Self-love is not an optional extra or a motivational slogan. It is the foundation of everything we do.

When you understand yourself with compassion, you can begin to understand your behaviours, your patterns, your limitations, your biology and the experiences that may still be influencing your choices. From there, you can start moving through the beliefs and behaviours that hold you back, rewiring your brain through practice and repetition, and creating new patterns that support the life you want to live.

Over three days and two nights in beautiful Noosa, we’ll combine behavioural science, life coaching, self-love, body-composition data, practical nutrition education, movement, strength training, recovery, mindset, lifestyle design and AI to create your personal wellness roadmap.

We’ll also remove the shame around needing support, using medical tools or seeking professional guidance. Your body is not a moral failure, and needing support is not a weakness. Sometimes the most self-loving thing you can do is use the tools available to better understand what is happening and make informed decisions about your health.

Most importantly, you’ll learn how to understand yourself, work with your body and make decisions for yourself long after the retreat is over.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

Two nights’ accommodation

Your private accommodation at Noosa Lakes Resort, giving you your own space to relax, reflect and recharge between our sessions.

Private transport

Once you arrive in Noosa, I’ll take care of the logistics. I’ll pick you up for our activities, appointments and experiences and return you to your accommodation.

DEXA body-composition scan

We’ll get a detailed snapshot of your body composition and use the information as one piece of the puzzle when understanding your individual needs.

The scan is not a judgement, a measure of your worth or something to fear. It is simply a tool that can help us replace assumptions and shame with information, context and self-understanding.

Your Personal Wellness Roadmap

Together, we’ll turn what we learn into a practical plan covering nutrition, movement, strength, recovery, routines, mindset and lifestyle.

Your roadmap will be built through the lens of self-love and behavioural change. We’ll focus not only on what you want to do, but also on why certain patterns may be difficult to change, what has shaped them and how you can create new responses through practice, repetition and compassion.

AI for Wellness session

I’ll teach you how I use AI as a practical tool to help organise information, plan meals, calculate and track nutrition, brainstorm solutions, create routines and adapt a wellness plan when life changes.

The goal isn’t to become dependent on AI — it’s to know how to ask better questions and use it intelligently.

We’ll also explore how AI can support reflection, habit-building, accountability and problem-solving without replacing your own judgement or the support of appropriately qualified health professionals.

Strength Training Made Simple

We’ll go to the gym together and remove some of the mystery around strength training.

If gyms intimidate you, this is especially for you.

You’ll learn what basic strength training actually looks like, which movements may be appropriate for you, how equipment works and why getting stronger doesn’t require becoming a gym fanatic.

We’ll also explore the behavioural side of movement: what makes exercise feel safe or threatening, how past experiences may influence your confidence and how small, repeated actions can help your brain and body build trust.

The Wellness Supermarket Shop

We’ll go shopping together and turn nutrition theory into something you can actually use.

We’ll look at:

• protein-rich foods
• easy meals
• snacks
• calorie density
• portion sizes
• reading nutrition labels
• carbohydrates and fats
• convenience foods
• supermarket shortcuts
• foods you genuinely enjoy

Instead of leaving with a restrictive list of “good” and “bad” foods, you’ll learn how to build a supermarket trolley that supports your goals and still looks like your life.

We’ll also move away from shame-based thinking around food. Food is not a test of your character, and one meal does not define your health. We’ll focus on understanding, flexibility and making choices that support you most of the time.

Recovery Experience

We’ll visit a recovery space and explore recovery as part of wellness — introducing you to different recovery modalities and helping you discover which practices you might actually enjoy incorporating into your life.

Recovery is not something you have to earn. It is part of caring for your body, regulating your nervous system and creating the capacity to keep showing up.

YOUR THREE-DAY EXPERIENCE

DAY ONE — ARRIVE, EXHALE & CONNECT

Theme: Where are you now — and where do you actually want to go?

Arrive in Noosa and settle into your accommodation.

I’ll pick you up and we’ll begin with a beautiful Noosa National Park coastal walk.

There are no spreadsheets or measurements yet.

This is our opportunity to talk.

Through the lens of behavioural science and life coaching, we’ll explore your history with health and wellness, what has worked, what hasn’t, what you’re tired of, what you enjoy, your current lifestyle and what you actually want your life to feel like.

We’ll explore the relationship you have with yourself and your body, including the stories you may have learned about health, weight, food, exercise and worth.

We’ll begin identifying the difference between what you think you should be doing and what might genuinely be sustainable for you.

We’ll also look at the patterns that may be on repeat: the behaviours, beliefs, emotional responses and protective strategies that once helped you cope but may no longer be serving you.

This is not about blaming yourself or digging for trauma without support. It is about developing compassionate awareness and recognising when additional professional support may be appropriate.

Self-love begins with being willing to understand yourself without turning that understanding into another reason to criticise yourself.

Evening: Settle into your accommodation, relax and enjoy Noosa.

DAY TWO — UNDERSTAND YOUR BODY & BUILD YOUR SYSTEM

Theme: Knowledge → Understanding → Self-Compassion → Action

Morning — DEXA Scan

We’ll start with your DEXA body-composition scan.

Rather than obsessing over a number on the scales, we’ll use the information available from your assessment to better understand your starting point.

Your body is not a problem to punish. It is a biological system with its own history, needs and limitations.

We’ll use the scan as a tool for curiosity and informed decision-making, not shame.

Your Wellness Deep Dive

Then we’ll sit down together and unpack the information.

We’ll explore questions such as:

What does this information actually mean?

What should you pay attention to?

What doesn’t need to consume your attention?

What might a realistic calorie range look like?

How can protein, carbohydrates and fats fit into your life?

What kind of movement can you realistically sustain?

What does progress actually look like for you?

What limitations may be biological rather than personal?

Where might you need additional support, medical tools or professional guidance?

How can you work with your body rather than constantly fighting against it?

From there, we’ll begin building your personal wellness framework.

We’ll also explore the behavioural science behind change: how habits are formed, why old patterns can feel automatic, how your environment influences your choices and how your brain can learn new responses through practice and repetition.

You may not be able to think your way into a completely different body or erase every difficult experience. But you can learn to respond differently, build new associations and create more supportive patterns over time.

I don’t simply give you the answers.

I’ll teach you the thinking process I use so you can continue making informed decisions yourself.

The aim is not perfection. The aim is to build self-trust.

Strength Training Made Simple

Next, we’re going to the gym.

Not for a punishing workout.

Not to “burn off” lunch.

We’re going there to learn.

I’ll help demystify strength training and show you how surprisingly simple a basic routine can be.

We’ll also work with any physical, emotional or confidence-related barriers that make the gym feel difficult.

The aim is for you to walk into a gym in the future and think:

“I know what I’m doing here.”

More importantly, you’ll begin to understand that movement can be an act of self-respect rather than self-punishment.

Lunch Together

We’ll stop for lunch and put some of our nutrition conversations into practice in the real world.

Because wellness has to work at cafés, restaurants, holidays, birthdays and weekends too.

We’ll practise making choices without turning the experience into a test, a punishment or an opportunity to feel guilty.

The Supermarket Experience

Then we’re heading to the supermarket.

We’ll build your real-world wellness toolkit by finding foods, meals and snacks that suit:

your preferences + your lifestyle + your goals + your nutritional needs.

We’ll also choose an easy, enjoyable dinner and snacks for your evening.

Convenience is not failure.

Learning how to make convenient food work for you is part of creating something sustainable.

We’ll also explore how to interrupt all-or-nothing thinking, reduce decision fatigue and create simple defaults that make supportive choices easier.

Recovery Experience

We’ll slow things down with a recovery session and explore another important piece of wellness:

recovery.

This is your opportunity to experience different recovery practices and consider which ones might realistically belong in your future routine.

We’ll also explore the beliefs that can make rest feel uncomfortable, unproductive or undeserved.

Self-love includes learning that you do not have to exhaust yourself to prove that you are committed.

Choose Your Wellness Experience

Because wellness isn’t supposed to feel like punishment, we’ll also incorporate experiences based around what you actually enjoy.

Depending on your interests, we could include experiences such as:

Mindset Walk & Life Mapping
A beautiful beach or river walk where we explore what you want the next chapter of your life to look and feel like, what matters to you and what kind of person you are practising becoming.

Wellness Kitchen Session
A practical session assembling several ridiculously easy high-protein meals, breakfasts or snacks you can recreate at home.

Optional alternatives: gentle yoga, Pilates, swimming, breathwork, beach time, meditation, journalling or simply slowing down with a coffee somewhere beautiful.

Your retreat should feel like you.

The more your wellness plan reflects your values, preferences and real life, the more likely it is to become something you can continue.

DAY THREE — MAKE IT WORK IN REAL LIFE

Theme: Your Next 30 Days

Check out around 9am and I’ll collect you.

Now we take everything we’ve learned and answer perhaps the most important question:

“What could realistically get in the way?”

We’ll identify your likely roadblocks before they happen.

Busy weeks.

Low motivation.

Travel.

Social occasions.

Stress.

Eating out.

Missing workouts.

Emotional eating.

All-or-nothing thinking.

Family commitments.

Unexpected life events.

Biological limitations.

Old emotional patterns.

Fear of failure.

Shame around needing support.

Then we’ll create solutions.

We’ll look at what may be happening beneath the behaviour, what your brain and body may be trying to protect you from and how you can practise a different response.

Instead of needing perfect circumstances, you’ll develop Plan A, Plan B and Plan C thinking.

You’ll learn that a setback is not proof that you have failed. It is information. It gives you an opportunity to adjust, practise again and continue building a different pattern.

YOUR 30-DAY WELLNESS ROADMAP

Before you leave, we’ll map your first 30 days.

You’ll leave knowing:

• your priorities
• your nutrition framework
• your movement strategy
• your strength-training starting point
• your recovery strategy
• your everyday food options
• your minimum viable habits
• your likely roadblocks
• your backup strategies
• what you’ll track
• what you won’t obsess over
• how to review your progress
• how to use AI to help you adapt
• how to practise self-compassion when things don’t go to plan
• where additional medical or professional support may be useful

And importantly, your 30-day framework is designed to be reviewed, adjusted and repeated.

Change happens through practice and repetition, not through one perfect burst of motivation.

You won’t leave thinking:

“I hope I can stick to Katie’s plan.”

You’ll leave thinking:

“I understand myself better, I know what I’m practising and I know how to adjust.”

CHOOSE YOUR FINAL NOOSA EXPERIENCE

Your final activity is deliberately personalised.

Choose what sounds like your version of wellness:

  1. Noosa Main Beach swim and beach morning
  2. Noosa River kayak or stand-up paddleboard
  3. Coastal walk and coffee
  4. Beginner Pilates or yoga class
  5. Noosa Farmers Market experience (when timing aligns)
  6. Relaxed healthy brunch
  7. Noosa River walk and personal reflection session
  8. Massage or spa treatment
  9. Hinterland nature experience
  10. Your own idea — tell me what makes you happy and we’ll see what we can create.

Because one of the biggest lessons of the retreat is this:

Wellness doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s wellness.

It also doesn’t have to be built on self-rejection.

Your version of wellness can be supportive, enjoyable, flexible and grounded in the belief that you are worthy of care now — not only after you reach a particular goal.

YOU LEAVE WITH MORE THAN A PLAN

You leave with an understanding of how the plan was created and how your own behaviour, biology, experiences and environment influence your health.

You’ll have your personal 30-day roadmap, your food and supermarket strategies, your movement framework, your AI wellness toolkit and a clearer understanding of how to make decisions when circumstances change.

You’ll also have a stronger foundation of self-awareness and self-compassion, along with practical tools for recognising patterns, challenging limiting beliefs and practising new behaviours.

Because I don’t want you constantly wondering:

What should I eat?

How much should I exercise?

Have I ruined everything?

Why can’t I just be more disciplined?

What do I do now?

I want to help you replace shame with understanding, self-criticism with curiosity and all-or-nothing thinking with practical flexibility.

I want to teach you a framework for answering those questions.

And I want you to understand that asking for support, using medical tools or working with qualified professionals does not mean you have failed.

It means you are learning how to care for yourself more effectively.

3 DAYS. 2 NIGHTS. ONE PERSON — OR BRING SOMEONE YOU TRUST.

This experience is intentionally one-on-one, but you are welcome to bring someone with you.

If you choose to bring a partner, friend or support person, the experience can become a shared opportunity to learn, reflect and build healthier patterns together.

There is no group to keep up with.

No comparison.

No generic meal plan.

No expectation that wellness has to look a certain way.

No shame around where you are starting.

We start with you — your body, your history, your lifestyle, your preferences, your challenges, your biology and the life you actually want to live.

Then we build from there.

This is wellness education made personal.

This is behavioural change grounded in self-love.

This is learning how to work with yourself, not against yourself.
